I’ve been diving into Mickey McGee’s case again and something about that time period in LA is really sticking out to me. In the early '90s, LA was a bustling, yet chaotic place with a lot of transient communities. It’s possible someone who was in the area around May 1991 might remember something pivotal. What about guest books or registrations at motels or boarding houses from that time? Those often get overlooked, but they could hold clues about who else was in the area when Mickey disappeared. Of course, tracking down those records nearly three decades later could be tough, but it might lead to witnesses who had a chance encounter with him. Anyone else think this angle is worth pursuing, or am I grasping at straws?

I've been following Mickey McGee's case for a while now, and something that stands out to me is how silent the media has been about his disappearance over the years. It's strange considering he went missing in a major city like Los Angeles. I understand there are countless unsolved cases there, but you would think a case from the 90s would get more attention with all the advancements in forensic science and technology now. Has anyone come across any recent media coverage or documentaries that might have touched on Mickey's case? I wonder if there's a way to push for more public awareness. Maybe that could help jog someone's memory or encourage someone to come forward with information. Thoughts?
