Does anyone else find the phone call aspect of Janice Kaye Dietz's case super chilling? It just baffles me how she managed to make this call and yet left no other trace. The fact that she sounded disoriented and "drugged" makes me wonder if she was under some kind of duress or held against her will. Did the call come from a public payphone or a number traceable back to a specific location? Was this call ever traced or analyzed for background noise to get any clues? With technology being limited back then, I'm curious if any modern techniques have been suggested to revisit this aspect? It's such an eerie element to the case that feels like it could hold some answers if only more information could be gleaned from it. ?
