Has anyone else heard anything more about the community's response to El Lee Mustache's passing? It's such a small and tight-knit area that I can't help but wonder how this tragedy has affected not just the family, but everyone in Picuris Pueblo. Losing someone to such a senseless act of violence is devastating, and I imagine it has shaken the community to its core. Do any locals know if there's been a gathering or memorial event held in his honor? Keeping his spirit alive in such a communal setting might offer some comfort and healing to his loved ones and neighbors.
