Hey everyone, I recently revisited the tragedy involving little Iliana "Lilly" Rose Garcia, and it's been hard to shake just how young she was when her life ended. Something that stands out to me is how a community grieves together in the face of such a horrible event. At the funeral, you could feel the weight of sadness, but also the love and care people had for this sweet child. So many attendees, around 300, showed just how much Lilly’s short life meant to the people around her. I can't help but think about how important it is for communities to come together to combat these senseless acts. While there's this lingering frustration over the lack of information about the shooters, I find some comfort in knowing that people are still talking, still caring about what happened to her. It’s like keeping her memory alive helps keep the push for justice alive too. Sending thoughts to her family. I hope one day they'll find some sort of peace, and that the community's support gives them strength. If anyone has updates on the case, especially those from the Albuquerque area, it’d be great to hear how people there are holding up or if there's been any new movement on the investigation.
