I came across this tragic case today and it's been on my mind ever since. The loss of Melissa Westbrook is just devastating for her loved ones, and I can't imagine the grief they're going through. Why wasn't the firearm secured properly? It's so important for gun owners to ensure weapons are stored safely to prevent children from accessing them.
