Does anyone know if the authorities ever looked into whether Jose might have been planning a trip or moving somewhere else? It’s been so long since he disappeared, and maybe he was talking to someone about going somewhere new. It seems odd that he just vanished without anyone knowing his plans. No personal belongings were left behind, right? Just thinking out loud here. Someone that age living in a YMCA in '94 might have dreamed of starting fresh elsewhere. Just curious if there was ever a lead in that direction.
