Does anyone else feel the heavy weight of this tragedy in Roswell? I’ve been thinking about how Beto, or Dreamer as some of you knew him, left behind not just a family but a whole community that looked up to him. The fact that he was gunned down as he was simply getting out of his car hits too close to home. It makes you realize how fragile life is. I can’t even begin to imagine what his wife, Desiree, and their six kids are going through. The void he leaves behind is unfathomable. It’s comforting to see that the Roswell community came together to honor his memory through the services at South Park Cemetery, but still, it doesn’t replace the loss. On the legal side, I’m relieved to know that they found Jesus Alberto Robles guilty and that some form of justice has been served. However, for those who knew Beto, it seems like this whole thing is just a harsh reminder that he's not coming back. How are you all coping with this? Anyone else from Roswell feeling the same?
