Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Eric Carrasco's murder, and something that stood out to me is the role of the witness who saw Edward “Lucky” Soto. The bravery it must have taken to come forward knowing the danger involved is incredible. Identifying Soto with the AK47 and recounting the chilling words he allegedly said is no small feat. It makes me wonder how many cases go unsolved because people in similar situations decide to stay silent out of fear. This witness not only identified Soto but also seemed to be key in helping the police solidify their case with the photo lineup. It's a reminder of how crucial community involvement can be in getting justice for victims like Eric. My heart goes out to Eric's family and friends—I can’t imagine the pain they’re going through, but I hope knowing that brave actions are helping piece together what happened provides some sort of comfort. Just thinking about the courage it took makes me respect the witness even more. Let's hope this leads to justice for Eric’s family. Would love to hear what others think about this aspect of the case. Could it inspire more people to come forward in the future?
