I've been following the case of Roland Valenzuela closely and wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind. While the arrest of Patricio Martinez was a huge step forward, I can't stop thinking about the people who witnessed the shooting or those who were directly impacted, especially the two other victims. Imagine the trauma they must be dealing with, knowing they survived such a violent incident. It's so important that they receive the support and counseling they need during this time, not just for their physical injuries but for emotional healing too. Gun violence leaves scars that aren't visible, and communities must rally around survivors to help them through the aftermath. How do you all think communities can better support individuals affected by such traumatic events?
