I was looking into Lorie Lynn Walters-Pope's case again and something struck me. Why was there so little information about why she was on State Route 36? It's such a remote place, especially back in '96. Was she driving somewhere specific, or was she meeting someone out there? I feel like there's got to be more context about what she was doing before she disappeared that day. Also, what about the CHP officer who last saw her? Did they notice if she seemed distressed or was there anything unusual with her car? I get why the details would be sparse initially, but it seems like there might be so many unanswered questions from that particular point in time. Anyone else have thoughts on why the trail seems to go cold from there?
