I was just revisiting old cases and stumbled upon Marlin Rucker's disappearance from 1997. It's pretty baffling that it took over two decades for his case to be added to the NamUs database. How does that even happen in today’s world? I get that resources and awareness aren't what they should be, especially back in the late '90s, but it seems like such a long time for the system to officially recognize a missing person.
I’m curious if anyone knows why there was such a delay. Did the family face any obstacles with law enforcement, or were they trying to keep the search going without the database? It really underscores how critical these systems are for keeping missing person cases active in the public eye. Just wondering if anyone remembers seeing Marlin Rucker, aka "TKO" or "JoJo," hanging out around OKC in the late '90s? He vanished back in '97, and it looks like there hasn’t been much info since. Noticed he had some unique tattoos—a "TKO" on his upper left arm and palm trees on his right forearm. Maybe someone saw him with these characteristics?
