Having followed this case closely, I find myself thinking a lot about the location itself where Daniel Bustos was confronted. With the incident having taken place at a Travelodge hotel right off Coors and I-40, I can't help but wonder about the level of security and surveillance in that area. Hotels generally have cameras covering their parking lots, and I'm curious if the footage captured anything significant that could aid in understanding the events leading up to the tragic confrontation.
Additionally, this hotel seems to be in a busy location with a lot of traffic - both from travelers and locals alike. Did anyone in the surrounding area witness anything or hear something strange that night? It’s such a devastating loss for Daniel's friends and family, and I hope all possible evidence is being used to piece together what happened that day. Anyone else have thoughts on how location plays a role in solving such cases?
