It's so saddening to think about the fear and chaos that must have surrounded Eduardo's last moments. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family is going through. In these discussions, we often focus on the suspects and the investigation, which is crucial, but I feel it's important to remember Eduardo as more than a case file or a statistic. I hope that justice is served swiftly, not just for Eduardo's sake, but for the entire Carlsbad community, which has sadly seen too much of this kind of violence. Sending strength and love to all those who knew him.
