I've been following Eva Aragon's case closely and something about it sticks with me: the intense love and respect her family continues to show for her. I've seen so many cases where family members struggle to speak out or attend proceedings, but Eva's family has really shown up, even during the trial. It must have been incredibly hard for them to sit through Valencia’s defense strategy blaming alcohol, trying to diminish his responsibility. Yet, they remained dignified throughout, holding onto Eva's memory. It's just so commendable how they're focusing on celebrating her life and impact rather than letting the tragedy define her. It's a painful testament to the kind of person she was—someone who really made an impact on those around her. My heart sincerely goes out to them. Anyone else feel this way about how her family’s handled things?
