Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Jesse Castellano's death and something that's been on my mind is the broader issue of gun violence in Albuquerque. It's deeply troubling to think about how common these incidents seem to be in the area. I read somewhere that there were several cases during that time, not just this one. I know the focus is rightfully on getting justice for Jesse and his family, but part of me wonders what could be done to address the wider problem. Acts of violence like this affect not just the immediate families, but the entire community too. Has anyone else looked into efforts or initiatives happening in Albuquerque to tackle gun violence? Or maybe there's something similar in other cities that could serve as a model? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
My heart goes out to Jesse's loved ones. Hoping there can be some positive changes to prevent further tragedies like this one.
