Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Casey Valdez's death, and something that's been really striking to me is the lack of progress reported in the investigation. It’s troubling that there doesn’t seem to be any suspects or arrests nearly two years later. I can't even begin to imagine what his family has been going through, having to live each day without answers. It's like his memory is in this painful limbo without any closure. The persistence of gun violence in Albuquerque has compounded this tragedy, making me wonder how often these cases are left unresolved. What can we as a community do to support victims’ families and maybe even push for more resources to solve cases like these? It's just so important that Casey's family finds closure and justice is served. If anyone has insights or knows of efforts that are being made in Albuquerque to tackle this issue, please share.
