Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Michael Skinner's tragic death, and something that's been haunting me is the fact that his body was discovered in the bathtub. It feels so chilling and deliberate, like an attempt to dehumanize or erase the life he lived. I can only imagine the devastation this must have caused for those who loved him. The fact that Zane took 24 hours before making that call to 911 is mind-boggling to me. I keep thinking about what could have been going through his mind during that time. What do you all think? Was this a sign of premeditation, or a moment of complete disconnect from reality? This aspect of the case just leaves me with more questions than answers. My heart goes out to Michael's family and friends as they navigate through this immense loss.
This case just leaves me so unsettled, especially thinking about Michael Skinner. He was in his own home, where he probably felt the safest, and then something so horrific happened at the hands of his own son. It's deeply troubling how much can occur right under our noses without our knowledge. I can't help but think about Michael's friends and family, who must be in utter shock and confusion. It's terrifying to think about the emotional turmoil they are experiencing, trying to piece together how someone they loved could be both the victim and the suspect in such a crime. And what about Zane's mental state? The fact that he called in about the homicide himself is bewildering. I've read about other family dynamics where things seem normal on the outside but fester underneath. It’s such a tragic example of how important mental health support and intervention can be. Does anyone know more about the background of this family, or if there were signs of deeper issues before this awful incident?
