I’ve been following the case of Muna Mahamud Haji and it's baffling how little evidence there is about their disappearance from Lake Travis. I find it odd that neither Muna’s nor Robert’s bodies were ever found despite searches conducted by the sheriff’s dive team. The lake isn’t that deep in certain areas, right? Could it be possible that there’s more to the story than an accidental drowning? Maybe there were strong currents on that day, or a sudden weather change that wasn’t reported. It would also make sense to examine if the boat had any maintenance issues that could have caused trouble. I'm curious if anyone has any insights on weather patterns or water conditions on Lake Travis around that time of year.
Does anyone have info on the weather conditions on Lake Travis around the time Muna Mahamud Haji disappeared? I read somewhere that changing weather conditions can play a significant role in boating incidents. Maybe there was something unusual going on that could have given us more insight into what happened that day. Was there a sudden storm? Strong winds? It's tough to imagine two adults just vanishing without a trace. If any locals remember or if someone has access to historical weather data, it might help shed some light on this mysterious case.
I’ve been following the Muna Mahamud Haji case, and something has been nagging at me. Has anyone looked into the boat’s condition thoroughly? I mean, if they found the boat adrift so soon after they rented it, it makes me wonder if there was some kind of malfunction. Did it suddenly stall, leaving them stranded on the water? I've read instances where even small boats can develop engine issues quickly, especially if they're not well-maintained. Plus, Lake Travis can be notoriously tricky with its currents and depth changes. I’m curious if anyone has more technical insight into that possibility. Could mechanical failure have played a role here, or are we grasping at straws? It’d be insightful to see some maintenance logs or hear from anyone else who’s rented from VIP Marina around that time. Thoughts?
