Has anyone else been following the case of Christopher Doyle? It's so devastating to see another young life lost in West Englewood due to gun violence. What strikes me is the ongoing struggle for the community to find meaningful solutions. It seems like every few weeks, there's another name added to the list of victims, and it's hard to imagine the pain these families must be going through. I keep thinking about the lack of economic opportunities in areas like West Englewood. It feels like such a big piece of the puzzle that's not being addressed enough. Without real change, it's like we're just stuck in this cycle. I really hope there are more initiatives to bring jobs and support to these neighborhoods. The community deserves so much better, and it's time for their voices to lead the conversation on how to make lasting, impactful change. Thoughts or ideas on what can be done?
