It's incredibly difficult to wrap my head around the fact that someone could do something so horrific to their own family. I can't stop thinking about what Sachary, Milka, and Max must have gone through in those final moments. It really makes me wonder about the human mind and what drives a person to commit such an unthinkable act. Also, has anyone else found it unsettling how Tejada confessed to a neighbor in such a manner? I mean, the choice of words, "Take me to the police station, I just killed someone," is chilling. It’s as if he was emotionless about it. Was this possibly a cry for help from someone who was experiencing a mental breakdown, or was it calculated? It's tragic that there seemed to be no turning back for him, and more so for the family that paid the ultimate price for whatever was happening in his mind. I find myself just wishing Sachary, Milka, and Max had the opportunity to continue their lives, untainted by such violence. My heart goes out to any friends and family left behind dealing with such an enormous loss.
