Has anyone else been thinking about the role of neighbors and community in this case? I can’t stop pondering how important Mark Regan, Sr.’s neighbors and coworkers were in raising the alarm. It’s so vital to have people looking out for one another, especially for someone like Mark, who was known to be dependable and consistent in his routine. Their quick action led the police to intervene sooner, and while it ended tragically, at least the truth came to light. I imagine it must have been incredibly difficult for them to stand there, worried outside his home, knowing something was wrong and feeling helpless until the police arrived. Huge respect to those who spoke up and took action, showing us all the importance of community vigilance. What are your thoughts on community involvement in such situations?
