Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into some old cases, and Myron Peters' disappearance from Wailea-Makena back in 2006 caught my attention. Something that puzzles me is how someone as noticeable as Myron, being 6'5'' and 240 lbs, could just vanish in an area that's quite popular with both tourists and locals. Wailea-Makena is known for its beaches and outdoor activities, so I would assume there were plenty of people around that day who might remember seeing something. I've read that Maluaka Beach is a part of "Turtle Town," a spot many visit for snorkeling. Could someone familiar with the area give some insight into the typical crowd size or any challenging spots nearby where someone could accidentally get off track or run into trouble? It's tough to believe no one noticed a thing. I’m also curious if any events were happening that day that might have drawn more or less attention to the area. Any locals or frequent visitors around from that time, your input could be super helpful in trying to piece this together.
