It's been over seven years now, and the tragedy of Armando Hernandez Jr.'s unsolved murder still weighs heavily. I keep thinking about the vehicle they found burned out on Coolidge Avenue that night. It seems like such a significant clue, but there hasn’t been much information released about it. Were there any pieces of evidence left inside that car before it was set on fire? Was it a tactic to destroy any DNA or fingerprints that might link back to the perpetrator(s)? I can only imagine how painful it is for Armando's family and friends not to have answers. Their patience and resilience during this prolonged investigation are truly commendable. It’s scary that a community can face such violence, and justice still feels out of reach. I hope anyone with information about this crime will come forward, even if it seems small—it might be what finally cracks the case.
