Has anyone else noticed how little public information there is regarding Dantley "Tookie" Leonard's case? It's really sad that we don't have more details about what happened that night. I was thinking about his family and how difficult it must be for them not knowing the full story. It's painful to think that years have passed, and there's still a lack of clarity or closure.
I've been digging for any local news reports from back in 2016 and still can't find anything substantial. It leaves me wondering what more could be done to bring attention to cases like this. Has anyone here looked into accessing law enforcement records or reaching out to any local journalists who might have reported on gun violence in Boston around that time? It's frustrating when cases don't get enough visibility, and I just hope there's still a path toward justice for him and his loved ones. If anyone has tips on where to look or who to contact, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi everyone,
I've been thinking about how little information is available about Dantley "Tookie" Leonard's case and wanted to focus on the impact this might have on his family and loved ones. It must be incredibly difficult for them not having clear answers or updates from the authorities. The absence of details can leave them in a state of limbo without closure. I can't help but wonder how they are coping with this over the years. Have there been any community efforts or vigils that friends or family have organized to keep his memory alive and pressure for new leads? If anyone has any local insights, it would be great to hear. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone affected.
