Has anyone here looked into the delay in reporting Venus Shawn Rose missing? I find it really perplexing and concerning that there was such a long gap between when she was last seen in May 2008 and when her mother filed the report in December. What could have caused such a delay? It’s sad to think how much more challenging that made the investigation, especially if it was a case of foul play. I wonder if anyone in the High Point community remembers her from around that time or if there were any sightings or interactions later in the year. The $25,000 reward is substantial, yet it seems like no one has come forward with credible information. I hope someone who knows anything sees this and feels compelled to help.
