I recently stumbled upon the details of Pedro Carillo's tragic murder at Curwin Circle, and one aspect that really got to me was the bravery of his mother. I can't even begin to imagine the emotional and physical strength it took for her to chase after the shooter immediately after witnessing her son's death. Her actions show an incredible amount of courage, trying to seek justice right there in the moment, even while she was injured. It’s truly heartbreaking to think about the trauma she must carry, having experienced this firsthand. Major respect to her for her bravery—it’s a stark reminder of the lengths people will go to in protecting their loved ones and seeking justice. For Pedro’s family, my heart goes out to you. Hoping the arrests in the case help bring some peace.
