Does anyone else find it truly disturbing how someone can be so wrong about another person's involvement and still resort to such an extreme action? I can't wrap my head around how Keishon Workman convinced himself that Maurice Timberlake was to blame for that earlier shooting. This case really makes you think about the reality of mistaken identity in violent crimes. Maurice lost his life because of a terrible error in judgment, and it's just so upsetting to think about the what-ifs. My heart goes out to Maurice's family, who had to wait six long years for this outcome. I hope this verdict gives them at least a bit of peace, knowing the person responsible is being held accountable. It boggles my mind how these kinds of tragedies affect entire communities—people must have been terrified knowing something so vicious could happen in broad daylight. What a devastating ripple effect.
