I hope Alan is out there living his best life. Sometimes a clean break from your past is the most healing thing you can do for yourself. I really hope this is the case.
Does anyone else find it strange that there have been absolutely no confirmed sightings or leads on Alan Wayne Olson since he left? It’s been over a decade now, and it seems like he just vanished into thin air. I mean, even with the initial steps like checking his financial activities or communication records, there’s been nothing to help pinpoint his path. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras in the area back in 2010 that hadn’t been checked, or maybe there are people who could know something but haven't come forward? The fact he didn’t tell anyone where he was headed—or maybe even why—just adds so many layers to the mystery. Thoughts on what might've happened or suggestions for keeping this case alive in discussions?
Hey everyone, I'm new here but have been reading up on Alan Olson's case for a while. Something that's been on my mind is his decision to leave without telling anyone where he was headed. Or was he just the kind of person who needed a clean break from everything? It's frustrating that there's hardly any trail to follow. Does anyone know if Alan had any close friends outside of his family who might have had a clue about his whereabouts or who he might have been in contact with around that time? Alan mentioned to his family that he intended to leave the area, but didn't say where. It sounds plausible that he might have had a friend or contact in another town. If anyone is familiar with the social scene in the area during that time or if there were any events or gatherings he might have been heading to, that could be a lead.
