I can't stop thinking about Admilson's family right now. Losing a son and sibling like that is unimaginable, and the trauma they've gone through must be immense. I read he had five siblings, and as someone with a big family myself, it's hard not to feel for them. Just having someone ripped away in such a violent way changes everything, leaving a void that can never truly be filled. I hope the community continues to support them, both emotionally and in pursuit of justice. The arrest of Jose Carrucini might provide some answers, but it's just the beginning of a long journey for them. Sending strength and love to Admilson's loved ones. ?
I've been thinking a lot about Admilson Ribeiro's case lately, and one thing that stands out to me is how young both he and the suspect, Jose Carrucini, are. It’s devastating to realize that at just 21 and 20, their lives have been irrevocably altered in such opposing ways. Admilson had so much potential and was cherished by his family and close-knit community. It’s comforting to see that the police were able to make an arrest and move the case forward quickly, but I keep wondering about the larger issues at play here. What drives youth in communities like Dorchester to violence? It’s a complex problem, and while justice is crucial, I hope there’s also a focus on prevention and support for at-risk youth. My thoughts are with Admilson’s family and friends during such a painful time.
