Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some insight on the community's reaction to Keven Rocha's tragic passing. New Bedford has always dealt with its share of challenges, but seeing a young life taken so violently in our community is truly devastating. I'm curious how folks in the area, particularly on Margin Street, are coping with this tragedy. There seems to be a lot of focus on the suspect's criminal history, yet I haven't seen much discussion about the neighborhood's sense of safety or community response since the incident. As the case progresses, how can we better support those living in the area? Would love to hear any thoughts or personal experiences anyone is willing to share. Sending my deepest condolences to Keven's family and friends. It's a difficult time for us all, and I hope justice brings some form of peace.

I've been following Keven D. Rocha's case, and there's something bothering me about the timeline of events leading up to the arrest of Angel Avelino. It's mentioned that Angel and his girlfriend Nicole were living in a tent in that area since August 2024. Does anyone else find it strange that Angel stayed in New Bedford all this time after Keven's tragic death? I'm wondering if he felt untouchable or if there was another reason. This is such a complex case, and it’s hard not to feel for Keven’s loved ones who are dealing with this incredibly difficult situation. I hope they find some peace and justice in the midst of all this. Would love to hear what you guys think—why do you think Angel stayed so close?
Has anyone looked into why Keven was at 17 Margin Street that night? I know a lot of us are speculating on Angel's motive and past, but I'm really curious about Keven's own movements. Was he visiting someone he knew, or was he there by coincidence? I'd love to hear any insights from locals who might be familiar with the area or anyone who could shed some light on what brought him there. My heart really goes out to Keven's family and friends as they try to piece this all together. It's so unjust that they’re left searching for answers amidst their grief.
