Hey everyone, It's been over three years since the tragic death of James Martin, and it seems like there hasn't been much movement on his case. I was reading an article about the level of violence in Dorchester back in 2020, and James's murder was mentioned as one of the many painful losses that community endured that year. Something that keeps nagging at me is the lack of public details on what exactly happened. Ten shots fired? That sounds like a pretty chaotic scene, and you'd think there would be some witnesses or even security cameras that might have picked up something useful for the investigation. I can't imagine how tough it must be for his family not knowing why this happened or who's responsible. Given that Boston had a CompStat program around that time, I'm curious if crime data or other tech resources are being used to track any patterns or connections between this and other incidents. Does anyone around here have any insights on how these investigations typically go, or have you heard of similar cases that were eventually solved despite initial dead ends? James deserves justice, and his family deserves answers. If there are any locals here, is there anything more the community is doing to help push for more information or to keep his case from going cold? Keeping hope alive for James. ? Stay safe, [Username]
