I've been following the case of Bhilal Bell and wanted to bring up something that's been on my mind. The shooting happened so close to a local school, and I can’t help but think about the children who might have been nearby at the time. I mean, a tragic event like this right in the vicinity of where kids are supposed to feel safe—it’s chilling, honestly. It must have been so terrifying for them and their families.
I hope the school offered support for students and that there were counselors available to help those who might have been traumatized by the incident. Events like this can leave a lasting impact, and it’s crucial that we address these things as a community, not just for justice but also for healing.
