Does anyone else find it strange that John Edward Morgan just up and vanished without a trace so close to home? Arcata isn’t that big of a place, and he was on foot. You’d think someone would have seen him or that he might’ve turned up somewhere nearby. I know he was dealing with diabetes and his mental health, but I can’t shake the feeling that there might be more to this story. It just feels like there should be more leads by now. Anyone with local knowledge have any theories about where he could have gone or if there’s a particular area that hasn’t been searched thoroughly?
Has anyone looked into the route John might have taken when he left home on August 25th? It seems like the focus has primarily been on the usual search areas, but what if he wandered off somewhere less likely or took an unconventional path? Given his medical issues and mental state, he might have looked for a secluded spot. Could there be any trails or lesser-known areas around Arcata that haven’t been searched thoroughly? Sometimes revisiting the locations can shine new light on things. Just a thought. Anyone with local knowledge or insights?
