This case is so deeply distressing, especially since it happened on a day when families are supposed to come together. I've been reflecting on the impact domestic violence has on a community, and this tragedy serves as a heartbreaking reminder. Rosa Santiago seemed to be such a beloved member of her community, and I can’t even begin to imagine what her family and friends must be going through right now. It's infuriating how domestic situations can escalate, and we often only hear about these stories when it's too late to help. The lack of warning signs being mentioned makes me wonder if there was anything that could’ve been done to prevent this, any outreach that could have made a difference. I'm not blaming anyone, but it just leaves me feeling helpless. Sending love and strength to Rosa's loved ones. Her life should be remembered for more than this tragic end. It’s also a call for us to advocate for more awareness and support for those who might be silently suffering in similar situations. ?
