I'm really struck by the fact that Rosendo Rivas Flores had connections to both the horse breeding world and illegal drug trade. It must have been such a double-edged sword for his family, living with that complexity. On one hand, he was probably quite well-known and respected in the horse community, and on the other, there was this shadow of illegal activities. It's such a tragedy, and I can only imagine how difficult it has been for his loved ones to come to terms with everything, especially with no resolution after all these years. I wonder if he might have let someone too close into his personal life from that illegal side, thinking he could manage it. If that was a factor in his murder, it's incredibly sad to think that trusting the wrong person could have led to his end. It's a stark reminder of how two seemingly different worlds can collide with devastating consequences. I truly hope new leads come up soon, and that anyone with information, no matter how small it seems, steps forward to help bring some form of peace to his family.
