In the early morning hours of June 12, 1998, the body of Rosendo Rivas Flores, a 45-year-old Hispanic male, was found in an alley behind an apartment complex on the 4800 block of N. Minnesota Avenue in Portland, Oregon. An investigation determined that he had died from a gunshot wound. Flores was known as a horse breeder and trainer with a rural property in Washington County.
