I recently came across the case of Ausencio Genchi Garcia, who tragically lost his life outside the El Moro apartments in Portland back in 1998. While some details about the suspect, Derrick Shepherd, have been shared, it seems like there hasn’t been much clarity about any progress in bringing justice to Ausencio’s family.
It’s deeply troubling that after all these years, we still don’t know if Derrick was ever arrested or faced trial. The lack of closure must be incredibly difficult for those who knew and loved Ausencio. I truly hope someone out there remembers something that could help move the case forward. Every bit of information counts, and it’s never too late for justice to be served. My heart goes out to Ausencio’s family and friends who have been left in uncertainty for so long. If anyone has recent updates or any insights into the case, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.
Hey everyone, I came across a detail in the Ausencio Genchi Garcia case that I find quite perplexing. It's been over two decades since Garcia's murder, and I'm curious about the ongoing silence surrounding any progress. Does anyone have information about what happened after Derrick Shepherd was named in connection with the case? It seems odd that there's little known about any potential legal proceedings. Given how much time has passed, I feel for Garcia's family and friends who must be left with so many unanswered questions. How do you guys usually go about getting updates on cold cases like this? Would love to chat with others interested. Stay safe!
