Hi everyone,
I recently stumbled upon the case of Morris Ramone Rivers, and something about it keeps tugging at me. One aspect that stands out is how vulnerable people can be when they're trying to make positive changes in their lives. Morris had just moved to Portland, probably filled with hope for a fresh start, leaving a troubled past behind in Sacramento. It's devastating how he didn't get a fair shot at turning things around.
Portland's known for its sense of community, and it's so important that we remember the responsibility we have to look out for each other. If anyone has any piece of information, no matter how small it may seem, I urge you to come forward. It's been far too long, and Morris' family deserves closure and the peace that justice can bring.
Does anyone else feel the same way about this case or have any insights into what life was like for people trying to escape past troubles in Portland during that time? It could help us understand the circumstances better and maybe find some new angles to consider.
Hoping for peace and justice for Morris,

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Morris Rivers and something's really been bugging me. I can't help but wonder if there were any surveillance cameras in the area around the time of the shooting. Portland isn't a small town, and you'd think there might be traffic cameras or businesses with security footage. Has there been any mention of video evidence, or was it just too early in the 2000s for that sort of thing to be common? I feel for Morris's friends and family—it must be so hard not having any solid answers for all these years. Hopefully, the police can find some kind of break in the case soon. Anyone else know if there’s been any update or mention of footage?
Did anyone else hear the rumor about the possible connection between Morris Rivers' murder and some kind of drug deal gone wrong? I've been reading a few old articles and there's a lot of speculation around this, especially considering his past struggles with crack cocaine. It's so sad to think that Morris, who seemed to be trying to make a positive change in his life after moving to Portland, might have gotten caught up in something dangerous.
I really feel for his family and friends, who must be frustrated with the lack of progress in the investigation all these years later. It's infuriating that even with witnesses, no one has been able to definitively identify the shooter. I’m curious if there’s more to the story that might have been missed—maybe someone in the community knows what truly happened that night. If anyone has more details or thoughts on possible connections, sharing them could make a difference in finally getting justice for Morris.
