I was reading more about Shawn Crawford's murder, and it honestly chills me to think he was just going about his night and suddenly... gone. It's like one moment you're there and the next, nothing. One thing I keep thinking about is the lack of witnesses who came forward, even though there were clearly people nearby. Two men were seen running from the scene, yet no one has come forward to identify them. I understand fear can be a huge factor, but Shawn’s family deserves answers and closure. If anyone knows anything, even if it seems minor, it could be the missing piece detectives need. It must be merciless for his loved ones, having to live each day with questions and no justice.

It's been over ten years since Shawn Decoal Crawford lost his life so violently, and I can't help but wonder how many potential witnesses might not have come forward yet. There were people in the vicinity that night, and someone must know something more. Perhaps there was hesitation to speak up back then, but time has passed, and loyalties can shift. I urge anyone who was around North Albina Avenue and Jessup Street on June 18, 2010, to reflect on anything they might have seen or heard.
