I've been thinking a lot about Justin Martin DeLaRosa's case lately, especially the impact it must have had on his family and the community in Salem. It's incredibly frustrating that there's so little information available about the investigation and whether any suspects were ever identified.
I can't imagine what Justin’s family, especially his father, Jose DeLaRosa, Sr., must be feeling not knowing who was responsible for taking his life. The Burns Paiute Gathering Center must have been filled with such an overwhelming mix of grief and love during Justin's funeral. Losing a young life to violence is an unimaginable pain, and it's frustrating that there's been no closure.
Does anyone in the area recall anything odd happening around that time or perhaps remember seeing or hearing something unusual on the night of November 10, 2012? Any little detail could be significant. Let's keep this conversation going and keep Justin’s memory alive. Someone out there must know something.

Justin is my brother, I sometimes search his name and read the articles about his death. I came across this article, we think of Justin everyday!
Does anyone have any insight into why there seems to be such little information about Justin DeLaRosa's case? It’s so baffling that after all this time, we still have no idea who might have been involved or what exactly happened that night. The fact that there hasn't been any mention of suspects or arrests in local news makes it feel like his family and friends have been left in the dark for over a decade.
It's beyond tragic that someone can be taken so violently and yet seemingly slip through the cracks of the justice system. You’d think there would be some kind of update or at least increased attention on his case after all these years. For those who knew him, I can’t imagine how difficult it is to not have answers or closure. If anyone in the community has any theories or knows of any resources to push for more information, please share. Justin deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.

Justin’s case was solved. The guy was caught within a few days. He only got 10 years, he is already out. He showed no remorse, didn’t say a word at court. Justin is my brother, my mom’s only son. My dad had an extremely difficult time with the case and was still trying to find out all the details about the case, he believed there was more to it. He passed away last November 16,on the day we laid Justin to rest in 2012. RIP brother Justin and Dad!
