Did anyone else find it particularly upsetting that Andrew's life was cut short so suddenly and violently? He was just 24, a time when most people are just getting a foothold in life. I've been following the case and it's really troubling to think about all the potential that was just snatched away. I read that Marcell Lee Daniel, Jr. took a plea deal, but 13 years doesn’t seem enough for a life lost. It’s moments like these that my heart really goes out to Andrew's family and friends. How do they even begin to heal from something like this? For those who knew him, I hope they find strength in the memories they shared with Andrew. It’s sad to think about the violence that still plagues communities. Does anyone else feel worried about these kinds of crimes increasing?
