I've been following Kevin Dewayne Varnado's case since it happened, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. The fact that someone so young could lose their life in such a sudden and violent manner is just devastating.
One aspect that I've been thinking about is the role Collett Renee Harris played that night. She was present and also injured, but it seems like all the legal focus has been on Malcom Xavier Jesse. It makes me wonder about her perspective on what really went down during the confrontation. Was she caught in the crossfire, or did she have some part to play in the events leading up to the tragedy? The lack of charges against her could mean many things, and without more information, it's just hard to piece together where she fits in all this.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Kevin Dewayne Varnado case, and something has been on my mind. I've read that Malcom Xavier Jesse was charged with murder, but they haven't really mentioned much about Collett Renee Harris, who was also involved in the incident and injured. It's curious that the focus seems to be so much on Jesse.
Does anyone know why the authorities haven't pursued charges against Harris? Was there a chance she could've acted in self-defense, or perhaps she was more of a witness?
