Has anyone else been following the details about the restraining order Cory had filed against Spencer months before the tragedy? I just came across some old court documents and it seems there were signs that the situation was escalating. It’s truly devastating to see how these warning signs weren’t enough to prevent this. It's a chilling reminder of how system failures can have real and devastating consequences. My heart goes out to Cory’s family—thinking of her children who have to live with this forever. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on what measures are being taken to ensure this doesn’t happen to someone else in a similar situation? This needs more awareness.

I came across some information about Cory Lumber's life that got me thinking. Apparently, she was quite active in her community in Portland and had a passion for arts and crafts, often volunteering at local events. It's so sad to think about her not being around to share her creativity and warmth anymore. Her family must be feeling an immense void without her, especially her kids, Stacey and Connor. It's hard to imagine what they're going through, facing the loss of such a loving mother. The community aspect seems to be getting overlooked, but it really adds another layer of tragedy to this entire situation. Cory's life extended far beyond the horrific actions of Spencer Johnson, and I feel it’s important to acknowledge all the good she brought into the world while we continue to seek justice for her.
