I recently came across the tragic case of Christopher Moss, and something that struck me was how quickly a moment can change everything. The fact that Chris had called his dad right after being shot is just so gut-wrenching to even think about. I can't begin to imagine the unimaginable distress his family must have felt receiving such a call. It’s a stark reminder of how precious life truly is, and how suddenly it can be altered forever. I hope Chris’s loved ones have found some sense of peace and support. It’s devastating to see a young life taken so abruptly, and it makes me hope that, moving forward, our communities find ways to prevent such senseless tragedies.
