I've been thinking a lot about the testimonies that came up during Jason Garlinghouse's trial. It seems like there were several witnesses who really contradicted his self-defense claim. It makes me wonder how many of those witnesses were people who knew both Jason and Sparki and what they saw in their relationship leading up to that tragic day. Sparki seemed to have a lot of love for her kids and was trying to navigate such a difficult situation with the divorce. It must have been incredibly tough for those close to her to stand up and speak out in court, knowing that their words were a big part of seeking justice for Sparki. My heart goes out to everyone who loved her and had to relive this painful experience during the trial.
