I've been following Garrett Peterson's case, and it’s something that’s really stayed with me. I keep thinking about how his family must have felt when they heard the news. It’s hard to imagine getting a call that your loved one has been taken in such a senseless act of violence. The fact that Ledbetter was under the influence of LSD really stands out to me. It's terrifying how a powerful substance like that can lead to such destructive behavior. It doesn't excuse what happened, but it sure does add another tragic layer to the whole situation. I hope this case leads to more discussions about the effects of drugs and how they can alter someone's state of mind so drastically. I can’t help but wonder how those two other men who were injured are doing now. Trauma like that isn’t just physical; it leaves emotional scars that can last a lifetime. It must be a long road to healing for everyone involved. Sending strength to Garrett's family and those affected.
