I can’t stop thinking about those poor kids who were upstairs while this happened. Growing up knowing your dad was murdered in your own home must be incredibly traumatizing. I really hope they have a strong support system to help them through this. If anyone in the area has any information, even if it seems small, please reach out to the police. Every little bit could help find justice for Steven and his family. It’s unsettling to think something like this could happen so close to home, and someone might know something that could help. Stay safe, everyone.
I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the tragedy that unfolded at the Harris home. What's been bothering me is how this happened in such a bustling area by Broadway Road and 40th Street, and yet there seems to be so little to go off of. It’s a busy area, especially around 7 p.m. — there must have been people around who saw or heard something. It’s just devastating to think that Steven’s wife and kids were right there, completely unaware of what was happening downstairs. I hope anyone with even the smallest bit of info feels compelled to reach out to the police. Every little detail could help, and keeping the family in our thoughts might bring some comfort as they navigate this terrible time.
