Hey everyone,
I wanted to bring up something that's been weighing on my mind ever since I heard Kelley Marie Smith's story. Isn't it so troubling to think about the risks that gig workers like her and so many others face on a daily basis just trying to earn a living? The fact that Kelley was simply delivering meals with her husband when this terrible incident happened is just beyond tragic.
I can't stop thinking about how challenging it must be for Kelley's family and especially for her husband, who was right there with her. The emotional toll must be unimaginable. I hope the Portland community, and anyone else who might have helpful information, keeps this case in their thoughts and contributes any leads they can to the authorities. It's crucial that justice is served for Kelley and her loved ones. Sending them all my thoughts and support.
Stay safe out there, everyone. Keep sharing and spreading awareness about this case.
I’m thinking a lot about Kelley Marie Smith’s case lately and how vulnerable people in gig jobs can be. It’s troubling that there haven’t been any updates on potential suspects yet. I realize these investigations can take time, but I imagine the uncertainty must be incredibly difficult for Kelley's family.
What’s especially concerning to me is that Kelley was just out there, doing something positive and bringing meals to people with her husband. It should have been a safe task. This terrible event really shines a light on how we need to do more to protect those working in gig positions. I hope someone comes forward with new information soon, so Kelley’s family can find some peace and justice is served. Anyone else following this case closely?
Hey everyone,
Just took a moment to think about how vulnerable gig workers like Kelley Marie Smith can be out there. I’m really feeling for her family as they’ve had to bear this unimaginable loss. Working alongside her husband and just trying to make a living—it's so scary to think about how things can go so wrong so fast. It's such a reminder of the risks people face in this line of work.
What's got me concerned is the lack of progress in finding who did this. I understand that investigations can take time, but it's been quite a while and still no suspects? It feels like there’s something missing here. I’m hoping that with the reward out there, someone will come forward with info. Maybe a witness who saw something out of the ordinary that night?
Really hoping for some closure for her loved ones soon. If anyone has any updates or thoughts on how we can support the family or help bring attention, please share.
Stay safe out there, everyone.
