Hi everyone,
I've been following the discussion about Gary O'Connor's case, and something that's been on my mind is the time of day when the shooting happened. Living in Portland myself, I know that the Sellwood-Moreland area is typically a bustling neighborhood during the day but calms down quite a bit at night. Could the time the incident occurred provide any clues about the motive or the potential suspect?
If this happened after dark, it's possible that the lack of witnesses might be hampering the investigation. On the other hand, if it happened during a busier time, it's even more concerning that no one has come forward with information. I really hope that someone who knows something, no matter how trivial it might seem, steps up soon. It's so important for Gary's family and friends that justice is served, and I can't imagine the pain they must be going through as they wait for answers.
Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
Stay safe.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Gary O’Connor case closely and felt compelled to share some thoughts. I keep circling back to the community’s role in situations like this. I grew up in Sellwood-Moreland and know how tight-knit some of the neighborhoods can be. It’s hard to believe something so tragic could happen here, and my heart goes out to Gary’s family as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
I'm wondering if there are any local events or gatherings planned to honor Gary or to raise awareness? Sometimes people feel safer coming forward with information when they feel support all around. It’s cases like this that remind us of the importance of community solidarity and vigilance.
I hope more people will come forward with information, no matter how small it might seem. Every bit can potentially make a difference. Let's keep the conversation going and ensure Gary’s case doesn’t fade from consciousness. Anyone have thoughts or ideas on how we can help from afar? Stay safe, everyone.
