Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Dohnavinh Saelee with deep concern and I wanted to focus on something that maybe hasn't been discussed as much – the impact on the local community. It's truly saddening to think of how this incident has affected not just Dohnavinh’s family and friends, but also the neighborhood where it happened.
Southeast Holgate Boulevard isn’t just a crime scene; it’s home to so many people who had to wake up to news of such violence right on their doorstep. It makes me wonder how the local community is coping and what kind of support they’re receiving. Are there local efforts to bring people together and help them heal?
I hope the community finds strength and support during this tough time. It's critical they feel safe and supported, especially with the search for Zackery Retonong still ongoing. If anyone knows of community outreach or support groups that have formed in response, I’d be interested to hear about them. Let's share any information that can help the residents there feel less alone.

I’ve been following Dohnavinh Saelee’s case, and it’s genuinely difficult to process what his family must be going through, especially with the delay in arresting all involved. What struck me the most is how young everyone is in this situation. At just 18, Dohnavinh had his whole life ahead of him. I can't imagine the pain his family is feeling. It's troubling to see how many similar incidents have occurred in Portland recently. The fact that one of the suspects, Zackery Retonong, is still at large is particularly concerning. I hope law enforcement is close to bringing him in so that Dohnavinh’s family can start to find some measure of peace. It's essential that this case gets the resolution it deserves, not just for Dohnavinh’s sake but to show there’s accountability for such senseless acts. Sending strength and support to his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
